Tribute to Phil Penny | Parry's | Burt Munro | Bruce's Long Ride | Walmsley's | Membership | Calendar
About 16 riders met at Mercer Road. Paul and Sarah from Mt Barker
joined us on their new Royal Enfield GT Twin.
This created a bit of interest with the other riders. It was their first
ride with the club for a while. Great to see them back again.
After President Kim’s address on which way the ride was going, it was decided to go via Menang Road to George Street. From there we would go on the Lower Denmark Road to Young Siding for morning tea. We were met here by Geoff and Darlene with their Suzuki sidecar outfit. They are having a lot of fun on this rig.
After an hour or so of chit chat we were off to Parry’s with a few
topping up their tanks in Denmark and grabbing a snack.
When we arrived at Parry’s we took over the tables and chairs in a shady
BBQ area which was protected from the wind. It was good to see Ike turn
up here. Geoff joined us here too on his son’s fully restored 66 “Bonny”
Triumph which he had imported from the USA. A pleasant day’s ride for
all.
