About to leave Venice part way through our trans-europe ride.
And
one of Maureen on the Italian coast, enjoying the warming weather and
her brand-new Belstaff.
Reaching the destination: our R60/7 at the kibbutz in 1977. Bikes
weren't normally allowed onto kibbutzes but we got special permission.
Maureen
on the bike at the southern tip of the Sinai desert. It was hot and
desolate with mirages appearing ahead of us before we finally reached
the coast at Ras Mohammed and were able to have a swim.
Only
my second road bike and the collectible that got away: my very early
1959 model Bonneville bought and sold in 1970. It was T120 020438, only
61 numbers off the first Bonneville ever made.
Coming
to Albany and getting dirty: learning to fly on my brand-new Yamaha
MX250 in 1974.
Fast
forward to 1979 and Maureen coming back from a dirt ride on the Honda
TL125 near Torbay Hall.
Then
having fun on my 1981 model R80GS in 1985 approximately.
