Walpole-Coalmine Beach Ride

Ruth and Andrew enjoying the weather.
It was a cold and blustery morning when some very keen riders turned up at the info bay ready to head off to Walpole.

Huddled in the info bay are Steve, Ron, Ruth, Athol, Ian Garry and Andrew.
They all huddled together in the shelter for a bit of a chat and before you knew it the plans had changed. “No, we don’t want to risk the bad weather all the way to Walpole!” “Let’s make it Denmark via the Upper Denmark Road.”

Setting off into the unknown.
They couldn’t take the Lower Denmark Road as it was still closed after the recent storms. Did they get back? Haven’t seen them since!
