ALBANY VINTAGE & CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE CLUB |

Nanarup |
APPROXIMATELY 22 bikes and 30 people turned up for a day at Terry’s Airstrip, Nannup. It was good to see Alan Dunns and friend from as far away as Manjimup, with his immaculately prepared BESO special. Ian Mac’s rebuilt classic Duke ran even times with Claude’s late model Monster. Bondy bloody near did an Evel Knieval and Brian pulled a wheel stand on the Honda quite by mistake A B40 BSA was another unusual bike in this part of the world, Triumphs in many different models accounted for eight or ten bikes present. Two-strokes were represented by Des on his Bultaco and Kelly on his Flying Flea. There was a strong headwind blowing down the strip but it stayed fine. There was a good deal of talk and discussion among the riders who I am sure enjoyed the day. |
