The Golden Triangle Ride

Story and Pictures by Antoinet

Gathering bikes in Albany.
A big group of people had gathered by 10 am, about 20 bikes I think. We had a nice catch-up before we left to ride along Millbrook road, and up Albany highway to the Mt Barker bakery. Always a good stop-over there, with coffees, cakes, pies and more talking.

Ronnie had been working on the Moto Guzzi V650TT the previous day and I had asked him if he was going to take that on the ride. He said he might have to wait until a back-up ride in case it had problems again, ha ha, should have bought a BMW...

Raelene, Garry, Robert and Ronnie in Denmark.
A nice ride along Muirs Highway and Denbarker road. Next stop was Denmark for lunch at the river. Garry and Raelene met us there and also Geoff.

Re-gathering next to the Denmark River.
More chatting and socialising while we had our lunch. I did a quick count while I took photos and counted 25 bikes. The weather was sunny and the temperature was very nice. Everyone said their goodbyes before heading home.
Farewell from Warwick.
