We start this year's event with new headquarters: the Albany Rifle Club, (just past the turn-off to the wind farm, on Frenchmans Bay Road). There is accommodation available at the Rifle Club in the form of powered and unpowered sites. There is also room in the hall, on the floor for sleeping bags.

Powered sites will be $12 for the first person and $8 for extra people. Unpowered sites will be $8 per person per night. If this accommodation doesn’t suit, contact Robin 9844 6275 for other options. Clean kitchen, hot showers and toilets facilities available. There is also a bar on-site that will be open from 5 pm – 12 pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday evening.

The weekend will start with the parade on the Friday 31st October; this street parade has become very popular very quickly with the locals. Riders are asked to meet at the Old Goal from 3.30 pm to move off under escort at 4 pm. RadioWest will head the parade, as it leaves Stirling Terrace west and turns into York Street. Riders will make one ride up the street and around the Monument and down the street returning to the Old Goal and then dispersing.

We will also have T-shirts for sale. The graphic for this year’s T-shirt is the one on the banner at the top of this page. This year there will be polo shirts with or without a pocket on the front. With a pocket the T-shirt will cost $30 (without the pocket $25) or windcheaters for $40...windcheater front view with attractive male model...windcheater rear view with attractive male model. They can be ordered on the entry form. We are also striking a metal badge again. Those booking for the weekend will get one in their packs, there will not be many extras, these can be purchased at $10 (limited number of extra badges available). We would like motorcycles in place for the motor show at 8.30 am Saturday as we open the show to the public at 9 am.

Saturday Afternoon Rally

Once again this will be in the form of a Poker Run, suitable for all motorcycles, no matter what size or age. There will be short and long courses to suit your bike. Entries will close at 11.45 am and the briefing will take place in Stirling Terrace at 12.45, the first bike will be away at 1 p.m. Entry for the rally is $10 per person which entitles you to a poker hand and afternoon tea. The Poker Run is open to any person with a road licensed motorcycle and a current license to ride. Pillions may also enter, cost is also $10 and this entitles you to a poker hand and afternoon tea. This year the rally will finish out at the Albany Rifle Club with afternoon tea donated by Dylan’s on the Terrace.
