Plantagenet Pub Ride

What better place to go for a winter’s ride than to a pub? So with 30 starters it was off to the Porongurups for a coffee before heading into Mt Barker to the Plantagenet Hotel for lunch. After entering the dining room and rearranging the tables and chairs, it was a quick look at the menu, order lunch and a mid-strength beer.

I thought the menu was excellent with light or full meals. A light fish and chips or steak sandwich and chips etc was $10 plus plenty of other choice. The open fire was roaring and a favourite spot to warm the backside.

Ravening horde lined up for tucker at the PubA most enjoyable feed, drink and natter before heading back to Albany. Good to see David out on his ‘50’s 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet and Colin from Narrikup on his Ducati. Thanks Ian for going back-up.
