Short Ride and AGM

We had a good turn-out for the Short Ride and AGM in August. We rode to Youngs Siding first for a coffee/tea break, where we met four of our Denmark members. We then back-tracked a little to Anvil Beach via Eden Road, that really is a great road with superb scenery.

After admiring the views we hopped back on the bikes and headed for the venue for our AGM. John and Forrest had let us use the hall at Woodbury Boston on top of Torbay Hill - what a fabulous place with views all around the South Coast.AGM at Woodbury Boston Hall

When we arrived the fire was lit, tea, coffee and the urn were for our use and Forrest had made a plate of delicious biscuits. John Dowsett brought along some milk. So lunch was first on the agenda and then the AGM.

The committee remains the same except for Ray Macneall who is now Assistant Secretary and property is now in the hands of Neil & Robin Bromilow.

New formal names for Machine Examiners:
Machine Registrar &1st Time Examiner:
Neil Bromilow
Machine Examiner:
Ronnie Jellesma
Perth & SurroundsMachine Examiner:
Huw Jones.

We then had quite a lively discussion about future Club Events from John Woodbury’s Club Cruise on December 9, An All Day Navigation Ride by Dave Ward and a Come and Try Your Hand at Riding An Old Bike event by Neil Bromilow (He proposed an event where Club Members could have the opportunity to ride old bikes if they hadn’t ridden them before - even Veteran Bikes!)
Thanks to Ron for going back-up.
